For a few years now Cats R Us has participated in the Piney Orchard Community Yard Sale. People have gotten used to seeing the “cat people” and come looking for our super deals!  We’ll be there again this year with our cat ears on!

Why donate? It’s tax-deductible! Help us pay down outstanding vet bills!
What to donate? Almost anything but PLEASE NO CLOTHING OR BROKEN ITEMS
When to donate? April 19 – May 1
Where to donate? A volunteer is graciously offering up her garage in Odenton. Please contact info@catsrusrescue.com to arrange to drop-off items.

How we use the money raised

Last year we raised just over $1000 dollars and were able to purchase several Kuranda cat towers for our shelters. This year, as always, we have a lot of outstanding vet bills and they are going up! Area veterinarians are extremely generous and offer us wonderful discounts but we have had several cases of kitties needing extraordinary care. Additionally, because we are a no-kill rescue group and we’ve been around for 15 years now, we have many kitties in our shelters and foster homes who are aging and in need of additional medical care. Your donation of unwanted items will help us raise critical funds to keep our vet bills in check!
