Join Cats R Us Rescue as we host Charm City Art for a Paint your Own Pet Party!
You decide what you paint !!
It’s SIMPLE & FUN!
You provide a picture of your pet in advance and Charm City Art creates a template and custom color palette for you to easily and successfully create a personalized masterpiece! The day of the event, artists will be on hand to guide you through the whole process.
The cost for the event is $60 per person and includes your 16×20 template canvas and all the supplies and personal instruction you’ll need to create your masterpiece. Plus $15 from each registration will benefit Cats R Us Rescue and is tax-deductible!
Enjoy an afternoon of food and drink at Perry’s Restaurant and Lounge as you turn your pet’s photo into a work of art and help support a great cause!
Event Details:
When: Saturday April 18th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
12:45-1:00 p.m. Check in and Find Your Canvas & Seat
1:00-4:00 p.m. Paint Your Own Pet.
Please arrive early (anytime after 12:30) to ensure time to find your canvas and settle in before we begin painting promptly at 1:00 o’clock.
FAQs
Do I have to paint a cat?
You can paint any animal you want. At other Paint Your Pet events, there have been portraits of a horse, a sheep, and even a turtle.
What kind of photograph is recommended?
Choose a high-resolution photo with a frontal view of your pet. The portrait will mostly be of your pet’s head and neck/chest, so you will want a photo where your pet’s face is clear and large so the artist can draw a detailed picture for you. Please choose a photo with just the one pet you would like to paint (no other people or pets).
Where do I send my photo?
Please send your pet’s photo along with their name to info@catsrusrescue.com within 3 days of registering.
What kind of paint is used?
We’ll be painting with acrylics.
What should I wear?
We recommend short sleeves or sleeves that can be securely pushed up so you don’t get paint on them. An apron will be provided for extra protection.
What are my parking options at the event?
There’s plenty of parking on the sides and behind Perry’s.
Where do I go when I get there?
Look for the banquet room. We’ll have a sign on or near the door.
What is the $4.29 fee for?
This is a credit card processing fee and EventBrite transaction fee.
