The Great Give 24-Hour Fundraiser Starts 5/7 at 6pm!
The second annual Great Give 24-hour online fundraiser begins tomorrow. Between Wednesday, May 7th at 6pm, through May 8th at 6pm, anyone can make a tax deductible donation to Cats R Us or any other participating charitable organization at www.greatgiveaac.org.
Last year, we raised about $3500 to help care for our kitties. This year, funds raised will be added to The Gracie Fund, our emergency medical fund, named in honor of Amazing Gracie, a little kitten that received extensive medical care after being severely abused. Because of that medical care, Gracie is a happy and healthy young cat.
In addition to providing TNR services to the Anne Arundel and surrounding communities, helping to care for and rehome abandoned cats/kittens through our shelters and our foster homes, CRU frequently takes in cats that have been severely neglected, abused and or mistreated. In addition, some of our existing shelter and foster cats require non-standard medical care whether it be treatment for chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, cancer, etc…
